09/15/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Mason came in as a stray, so his past behaviors in a home are unknown. During SAFER Mason came into the assessment room loose and wiggly, he was social towards the assessor, not all handling items were able to be conducted as Mason tried to bite the assessor on the Look item. He bit the assess-a-hand on food and rawhide items, and he displayed no interest in the toy item. In light of this behavior we feel that placement with a rescue who can provide positive reinforcement-based behavior modification is the best option at this time. Food: 5. Dog tries to bite. Toy 1: No interest. Rawhide: 5. Dog attempts to bite
