Youhoo…….It’s me….Mark…I am still here, chewing on my rawhide…Have you forgotten about me? I know I am just a little boy, but I count too…I am cute, a little dumpling with huge white paws and a big square head. I love to play and cuddle on the lap of my caretaker. I am quite lively and not the scared puppy i used to be. I like toys, balls, other dogs and company in general. I still have a cold and can not play with other dogs. It’s tough for me to see them jump and run in the pen next door and not being able to join them…A kennel is no place for a puppy….and I have been at the care center for almost a month with a cold that takes its sweet time to get better. I forgot a most important thing..I got the highest marks on my behavioral evaluation. So, you see, I am not just anyone..I am a gem and truly, I do not boast about myself..Just kidding. I am a little boy with a big heart and I want to offer it to you…my new teacher and master. I am at the Manhattan Care Center…an easy place to reach by foot, car, bus or train….See you soon…I hope.

When I first met Mark, he was quite scared and had to be carried wherever I wanted to go with him. This is history. Mark is indeed a happy go lucky well mannered little boy, very affectionate and who loves to play with people, toys and other dogs. He is a joy to be with and watch evolving in the yard. I love to see him standing on his hinds and falling flat forward to catch a tennis ball. How naive and clumsy! Mark is so cute, so perfectly made and dressed in the silkiest ebony and white coat. Who in his or her right mind could have abandoned such a precious little boy? I do not understand… Mark loves treats and sits for them on command. I can pet him, play tag, massage him, roll him like dough. Mark says, “Give me more!” He is so enthusiastic and so happy to be in company and loved. Mark needs a home, though, a soft pillow to lay on and mostly a master or family to be taught and loved by. Mark is at the Manhattan Care Center, hoping and dreaming to be yours, very soon.
