11/14/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: ‘I love Marceline’…’Oh, I love that girl’…’She’s my favorite, I LOVE her!’…No, there’s not an echo in the Care Center, that’s just the chorus of voices as everyone we pass calls out their praises for the sweetest, most easy-going and seriously gorgeous dog you could ever hope to know! I have never seen a girl so universally admired as Marceline and to meet her once is to love her forever. Don’t be fooled by that somber photo face, she’s a gentle goofball at heart and ambles her way through life radiating happiness and good cheer toward all she sees…unless they happen to be a squirrel or pigeon that is! Marceline’s keen nose is always snuffling out some new and interesting scent or pointing the way toward the nearest park. She’s very well behaved and does her business immediately, walks well on leash (ok, a little less so when squirrel hunting!), takes treats gently, likes hugs, gives great kisses and is fantastic with other dogs too. A big softie who’d make the perfect play-snuggle-jogging-naptime-
