I spotted Madison a few days ago in her arrival kennel . Her “intake” picture kept haunting me. Those gentle eyes and sweet Yellow Lab face…I had to meet her. I had my chance yesterday  and was so glad I did. Madison was all I thought she was …and more. Madison came out of her den with poise and walked nicely on the leash next to me. She relieved herself at once as soon as we entered the yard. A “simple” medium size and neat gal she is,  wearing  a modest fawn dress and keeping a decent weight. Her soulful eyes reveal her inner beauty . Madison is quite submissive and will lower her body, roll on her side and lay on the ground at the touch of my hand. She comes sheepishly as i call her, poses her head in my lap for caresses and encouraged by my voice, will venture timidly on my lap. She is a very needy and affectionate female although she is not overwhelming in her ways.  She seems fine nearing other dogs and greets a staff with a low wagging tail. I love, love , love Madison. She will make a beautiful companion, a wonderful forever best friend to the one who will give her a chance to start a new page in her life…Madison is waiting patiently at the Manhattan Care Center.
