A Volunteer Writes: Did you wake up a little less cute today than you were yesterday? Blame it on Luna, who is so insanely cute there’s definitely not enough to go around. Soft like the velveteen rabbit, a patch over her eye like a pirate, snuggly like we dream of a dog being with us….and wow is she crazy generous with the snuggles and the
kisses. This is a dog that children will fall madly in love with and will remain the important dog of their lives.
A volunteer writes: Luna is an adorable little girl, only 9 months of age, with the most engaging smile and laughing eyes. She is really a bundle of joy and life who loves people and other pooches company. She can’t wait to get her “paw” on other dogs and play, play, play….Luna is a very friendly character, super sociable and wiggly who loves to be petted, run through the yard, play tag and leap after a ball. She pulls a little on the leash but seems to be house trained. Luna was owned for only six months and relinquished into our care as her four long term housemates, all toy dogs were not fond of her and aggressing her…..Luna is young , strong and lively and i guess a bit too much for Lilliputians …Luna comes with excellent recommendations, though. She also slept in her crate with some of her owners personal clothing as “safety” blanket and brought her food bowl to the sink to get more water..A smart dog!!! Luna has been beautifully cared for and is a glowing little girl, healthy , perfectly made and groomed. She aced her behavioral evaluation and is ready to jump into your life as your forever best friend..Come and meet her soon at the Manhattan Care Center!
