A volunteer writes;
“There is a lovely little Boxer girl..You have to meet her..She is so sweet, she walks so nicely…” The words of another volunteer. I had to meet Lucy, of course, a very lovely way to start my day at the care center…An easy pooch…. We all like this… Lucy is a little crumb of a dog, so tiny…I barrely touch her and her little stump of a tail gets into action. She is leashed easily and off we go to the yard. Another dog is met, almost nose to nose coming out of the elevator. Again tail wagging. Same with a  MinPin… Lucy is a good “sitter”. On command and for treats… She is quite pretty, petite and super girly, shy and loves caresses and kisses. Lucy is much too thin but wears a well groomed shiny cinnamon and gold coat. Her facial markings give her the cutest look and her copper eyes are sparkling. She seems to have been a mother once upon a time. Lucy seems to be ready to jump into your lap and your life…A no fuss , well mannered, people and dog loving little female..What are you waiting for. take the bus, the train, a cab or your car and come to meet our little gem, right here at the Manhattan Care Center.
