A volunteer writes:  “Loves to cuddle with family, knows ‘sit’ ‘down’, ‘shake’ and ‘come here’….. leaving us with that information as a start, Louie’s family left him with us as they moved to a place where Louie is not welcome.  We’re also told that he lived with 2 children ages 8 and 13, loves to play fetch, is housetrained, crate trained (although no longer needs it), is relaxed and playful with people he knows, and is shy with strangers until he gets to know them.   We’re all strangers to Louie, so it took some coaxing to convince him to come for a walk.  He enjoyed my bribery treats, taking them gently and
decided I had to be OK.  Walking to the park after going potty right away (whew – that had to feel good!), Louis shows off nice leash manners and we chat as we walk.  In the park some other dogs stopped to say hello to my handsome date and Louis was polite and reserved.  A bit camera shy it’s hard to capture how gorgeous he is – his coat is lush and soft, his eyes a gorgeous amber, and he has the cutest little tufts of fur between his toes.  I’m in love with his toes!  Louie is looking for a new family to cuddle with and hopes you’ll stop by to meet him today.
