A volunteer writes: Found tied to a fence in a park, this sweet little senior citizen is looking for a friend. Her leash manners are lovely as she walks with a spry step. Loretta’s eyes are cloudy so when I give her a treat she takes it gently putting her entire mouth over my fingers. She can be a bit ornery when first being picked up, possibly because she can’t see what’s coming, but once in my arms was happy to snuggle. With other dogs off leash she’s a bit nervous and keeps to herself. This tiny little “oldie but goodie” is looking for her retirement home, a place to stay warm, well fed, safe and loved.
