08/06/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
London was a bit difficult to remove from his kennel showing teeth and growling. He walks calmly on leash. During the look London was growling and exposes his front teeth. We decided to stop the handling part of the assessment. During the resources London growled and bit the assess-a-hand during the food bowl test and was not interested in toys or rawhide. Due to the behavior demonstrated in the shelter the behavior department believes that London would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home. Look: 5. Dog freezes and growls Food: 5. Dog tries to bite. Toy: 1. No interest. Rawhide: 1. No interest. When off leash with other dogs London is avoidant and uncomfortable.
