No, Lola is not a puppy. She is a tiny young adult, a little pixie who is with us because her landlord unfriended dogs. She used to live and play with cats, a real bonus as cats, like kids, can be found in many adoptive households. Lola is a friendly gal, really cute, compact, well groomed, sitting nicely in her kennel and holding up her one white boot. She is quite welcoming and is leashed easily. Lola attends to business right away before our brisk walk around the block. Few dogs are met. Lola is cool with them. Free in a pen, Lola shows good obedience skills. She is not scattered, comes when called and sits right away on command. She loves treats! She hops on the bench next to me. She is a great lap dog who loves hugs and kisses. Lola is at the Manhattan Care Center. Come and meet this adorable little girl and take her home as your forever best friend.

Lola’s a girl who starts fights…of LOVE! “She’s mine, all mine!” an employee called out as we strolled by. “Oh, I don’t think so!” responded another. “I put dibs on her first!” How could anyone resist craving the company of this pocket-sized hit of joy and happiness? Our little girl plays so nicely in playgroup with the other pups, adores other people, appears house trained, and walks gorgeously on a leash. All this divine energy in a dog you could tuck under your arm so you’d never have to be without her. Trust us–you won’t want to be!

“Rock Star” – that’s the response I got when I asked how Lola did in the play group. Appropriate play with all, listens well, and played well – it doesn’t get better than that. Adorably affectionate she’s already won the hearts of all who have met her. Is yours the next heart she wins?
