10/21/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes (as told by Lokey): Hey everyone! Lokey here. Does anyone have a lap that needs a dog to fill it? Being a lap dog is my specialty — and I’ll throw in lots of kisses too. My person found a new job and wasn’t allowed to have me anymore so here I am… I love little kids and love to give them kisses, I sit when asked to, take treats gently, know how to give paw”, and ‘stay’ and I like to play with toys. I do pull on the leash a bit so may be better off with a harness, or maybe you can even train me to walk better — I’d like that. I’m super sweet, very friendly, wag my tail at other dogs and seriously — am happy cuddling in a vacant lap. I sometimes forget that I’m not a small dog, but I’ll make your lap work — no worries. I showed my new friend, Volunteer, that I know how to go potty outside and she told me I’m a “good boy”. So, I’m ready to come home with you and if you’re a snuggle person you and I were meant to be together. Come ask for me today. That’s LOKEY — don’t forget!
