A volunteer writes: Named after the avenue on which he was found, Lexx wears one of the most gorgeous tan/orange coats I’ve ever seen. Clean, lush and well groomed, Lexx is a stunning pup with unique facial markings, light hazel eyes, and a sweet demeanor. Likely housetrained he went potty as soon as we were out the door and then showed off fabulous leash manners as we walked to the park. He poses for photos like a superstar, tilts his head when I make kissy sounds at him, and makes soft eye contact with eyes that look like they’ve been professionally made up. Joining me on the bench for some hugs, he’s easy to be with, calm and gentle. With a little coaxing he shows off his sit and of course, gets a treat which he takes gently. Off leash in a backyard pen he explores quietly, and when I had to leave for a few minutes, stayed quiet waiting for my return. Happy to have me back, his tail wagged with a wonderful greeting. “Yay, she’s back!”. Too cute. In his first group play he was a bit nervous and while happy to be included didn’t interact with other dogs. Lexx is looking for his forever person or family to take him through puppyhood (almost there) and onto the rockstar adult dog he is destined to be. Calmly waiting, Lexx is hoping you’ll stop by and ask for him today.
