08/19/15 15:34 BASIC INFO Lexus A1048467 came in with 2 other dogs, Sophie A1048465 and Emily A1048464, according to finder, they were all found in a park in the Bronx. Finder cannot keep. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE: Lexus solicited attention, but we were unable to pet him on the head or try to get an old collar off of his neck. He appears to be in paying from the matting of his coat.

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Lexus walks calmly on leash. He was sociable toward the handler during the assessment – soft body. Lexus was calm and relaxed during handling. He was distracted, focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag test. Lexus was not interested in food, toys or rawhide. Lexus was relaxed when approaching a friendly dog, but was not playful. Lexus did not show any concern during the behavior assessment. The behavior department feels that he can go to an Average home. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 2. Dog is not fearful, but is unresponsive to the Assessor, and approaches the Assessor at the end of the game (may need coaxing to approach.) He is focused on stimuli other than the Assessor. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. Food: 1. No interest. Toy: 1. No interest. Rawhide: 1. No interest. Dog – dog: 1. Dog approaches the helper, soft body, tail neutral, but not playful. Helper: A1048398
