Lazarus came in as a stray, so his past behaviors in a home are unknown. At intake Lazarus had loose body posture and was friendly towards the counselor, he allowed all handling. During his relief walk Lazarus pulls strongly on the leash may require leash training. During SAFER Lazarus came into the assessment room calm and sniffing around the area, he was friendly towards the assessor, allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Lazarus was relaxed during the tag interaction, and during the resources portion of the assessment Lazarus was easy to handle when engaged with the items. Lazarus appears to be sociable, and did not display any behaviors concerns, so the department feels he can be suitable for an “Average” adopter. Look: 2.
