A volunteer writes: Shyly welcoming of new friends, it takes Lagoon a short time to warm up but when she does she’s all smiles, tail wags, kisses and cuddles. Once outside she goes potty immediately, and we’re off to the park. Her leash manners are lovely, her tail wags as she walks and she keenly observes her surroundings. As other dogs approach she goes into a crouch watching until they pass. Showing off her sit for pictures, she poses perfectly, takes her reward treats gently and then snuggles in my lap. Off leash in a pen Lagoon poses for more pictures, she’s SO gorgeous, briefly plays with a toy, and again joins me in my lap for more kisses and hugs. In group she plays appropriately, offers corrections and has a focused style. Lagoon may not do well with cats or other small dogs, so a home with a dog her own size is perfect. Acing her behavior assessment indicates she’ll be a good fit in just about any home, so she’s hoping she’ll meet her special someone today.
