Deferred Intake  Profile

Basic Information: Lady is a 8 year altered Dachshund mix. Owner stated Lady has a patch on the back appears to be manage. Owner surrenders Lady due to no time.

Social Life and Personality: Lady lived with adults and been around children all ages. Owner stated Lady is playful, relaxed and respectful towards everyone in the household. Lady lived with another dog name Yoshi A1055019 and owner stated they appear to be bonded because they were never separated. Owner stated Lady is tolerant and distance from other dog she sees on walks and Yoshi is protective over here. Lady behavior is unknown towards cats. She is indoor/outdoor and activity level is low. Owner describes Lady as playful, shy, fearful, quiet and friendly.

Behavior: Lady has never bitten or scratched anyone to owner knowledge. Her and Yoshi eats separately but she doesn’t show any aggression when owner touch her food bowl. She’s friendly when toys or treats are taking away from her. She is tolerant of taking baths and being brushed. She will only bark if unfamiliar people approaches the house at night.

For a New Family to Know: Lady is trained to use the bathroom outdoors mainly in the yard. She knows commands such as sit, be quiet, and go to bed. Lady doesn’t have toys but will chew on branches owner stated. Lady is crate trained and will stay sleep in crate as well. Lady likes to be by owner feet and is well behaved when home alone. Lady eats dry food called Kibbles and bits.

Intake Behavior: Upon intake Lady was calm and relaxed. She scanned positive for a microchip and allowed all handling.
