A volunteer writes:
Little Kobe is a very petite Beagle girl found in the company of three other small dogs, Kazoo, Krieger and Kalamazoo. These four musketeers are  somewhat run down and are looking for a forever home and a loving master. Kobe is a bit timid but lets me lift her out of her kennel. She trots calmly by my side and does nicely the stairs. A neckpiece…Kobe finds it a little strange but complies.It is just for the photos, sweetheart… She is handshy but eventually becomes more comfortable as she is being fed roastbeef…Kobe is quite hungry and food seeking. She might have been deprived for a while like her shaggy little housemates. Kobe goes with the flow, an innocent  little flower waiting at the Manhattan Care Center  for a better life. Come and meet this tiny girl and give her the home she really  deserves.
Another volunteer writes:
Kobe likes company.  She likes to go for walks, lift her head to the sun and listen to the wind.   She’s an awesome little girl, easy to lift out of her top kennel, great on the
leash and walks with a terrific spry step of a dog half her age. She’s a bit shy but is friendly and easy exploring our pen and coming over to me for a treat and an ear scratch.  She seems to like other dogs and joined us with three others.  She is looking for a home with a loving person or family in which easy walks, a cozy bed are there
for her.   After all, her senior years should be her golden years. Can you open your heart to our golden oldie?
