A volunteer writes: Handsome, smiling, tail wagging and anxious to go for a walk…..meet Kimo! Surrendered by his family for financial reasons Kimo comes with a rockstar resume. We’re told that he’s housetrained (thus his anxiety to go for a walk), likes to play tug and play wrestle, lived with kids 3 through 6 and was relaxed and played gently with them, lived with a small dog and played exuberantly with him, doesn’t mind baths and nail trimming, and prefers to sleep in his own ‘dog house’ at night. All of this and he’s gorgeous too! He’s good on the leash, pulling only slightly and his tail never stops wagging. As I was taking him out of his kennel staff said to me, “that’s a great dog”, and boy was he right! We stopped in the park to
take some pictures, Kimo being an amazing model and then flopping down for a belly rub and a cuddle. He’s a terrific cuddler, giving me sweet kisses and burying his head in my neck. As soon as I sat down he was in my lap…..nothing like a 60+ lb lap dog!! Kimo seems to love dogs of all sizes, wagging his tail happily at all we met. The perfect amount of energy, love and cuddles – what a combination! Add that to his movie star good looks, and wow….what are you waiting for?
