A volunteer writes: Hellllloooooo handsome! Kiba stepping out of his kennel reminded me of the old clown cartoon where the car door opens and clown after clown after clown steps out. I leashed Kiba and out stepped this big gentle dog in a fluffy, lush, well groomed coat. Wagging his tail we head out the door where he shows off his housetraining skills, and then his great leash skills as we walk to the park. Posing for pictures like a pro, as soon as Kiba sees my camera he sits and looks into the camera. He’s gorgeous and clearly his former family took a lot of pictures of him. He shakes both paws – sometimes one after another, and sometimes both at the same time! He sits right away when asked, takes treats gently, and when I saw that he was thirsty I took him to the water fountain in the park where he drank water from the stream that flowed! Sweet, low key, friendly and affectionate I got a couple of wet kisses after that and we snuggled a bit. With other dogs in group play he’s a polite greeter, eager to play and responds well to correction. Kiba was clearly a much loved and well socialized dog before joining us. He’s hoping you’ll stop by to meet him today.
