08/03/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Puppy time means fun time and baby Karo just loves to play! Whether she’s leaping after a ball, running around in a game of chase or simply socializing with her human and doggie pals, a beautiful smile is never far from her face and a wiggly-waggle never far from her behind! Until recently Karo was living the life every puppy dreams of…a big, happy family with 5 little human siblings and a young Maltese sister to play with and her former parents tell us she was gentle and respectful to all. Sadly, the Landlord decided Karo had to go so now she’s staying with us at the Care Center and spending her free time lighting up the days of staff and volunteers instead. Lap snuggles are a must and Karo has hugs and kisses for everyone, when I invite her onto my knee she cuddles in close and practically washes my chin for me! Though she does pull eagerly on leash, her petite size keeps our pace manageable and she shows off her good girl manners by taking care of all her business along the way and mouthing treats very gently from my hand. Karo’s family describe her as friendly, sweet, and playful. We’re told she’s well behaved when left alone in the home, has a high activity level and loves to play with ball or rope toys but enjoys having plenty of nap time too. Just like the sugary syrup for which she was named, Karo’s sweet nature is an absolute joy to be around and she spreads happiness wherever she goes. Welcome this little ray of sunshine into your family today and get ready to smile smile smile!
