04/16/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Kapurkel was difficult to remove from his kennel he was charging at the gate trying to grab the leash with his body stiff, tail high. Once he was out Kapurel toileted immediately. His ears are up and oriented forward. His tail is high and rigid, sometimes flagging. His hair was standing up on his shoulders and back. He usually makes direct eye contact with the assessor and handler while he was growling and charging at the handlers. He was very forward to the assessor and we couldn’t perform the assessment due to his behavior. Kapurkel show guarding issues during the food, toy and rawhide he growled and bit the assess-a-hand. The behavior department feels that he would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home. Food: 5. Dog tries to bite. Toy: 5. Dog attempts to bite Rawhide: 5. Dog attempts to bite Dog – dog: 1. Dog approaches the helper, soft body, tail neutral, but not playful. Helper: A1032970
