SOCIAL LIFE & PERSONALITY Josh is described as very active, playful and affectionate. Josh lived with three adults in the home but interacted with a 9 year old child. While being walked, Josh would pull towards other dogs to approach them. H BEHAVIOR Josh is accustomed to being bathed at least 1x a week. He will bark at the sound of the door bell ringing but greets visitors with a soft body and attempts to lick them and play. He is well behaved when left alone and allowed access to the whole house. FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW Josh knows the commands “sit” and “paw.” He likes playing with stuffed chew toys and games like tug and fetch. Josh becomes nervous when he hears fireworks or thunder. He will run back and forth in the home. He is accustomed to eating wet and dry dog food. He likes to sleep in bed with his owner snuggled under the bed covers. DURING INTAKE Josh body remained soft with his tail wagging when he was approached. When he was petted he would jump onto the Admissions Counselor and lick at the counselors hands, arms and face. He listened when he was told to sit. He did growl when the microchip scanner wand was placed introduced to him. He was allowed to sniff it but growled at it.
