05/27/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Quiet and gorgeous in her kennel I can’t resist meeting Josey immediately. She’s all white, beautifully groomed with one brown spot on each ear. I call them her love buttons…:). Petite and the perfect weight for her size, we’re off to the park for an early morning walk. While she pulls a bit on the leash, she’s easily managed as she checks up with me, and her tail wags. Josey is deaf, which is a major plus as trucks rumble and motorcycles roar on the noisy avenue and nothing fazes her. What a bonus during a thunderstorm! Josey is calm, gentle and low key… a total snuggle girl who sat by my feet as soon as I petted her, putting her head in my lap and sighing with pleasure. Taking my treats gently, she spits them out equally gently when not to her liking. So cute! Whether it’s rolling over for a belly rub, or simply laying her head in my lap for a good petting, Josey is easy and in tune with her person. She may know some hand signals, and if not, she and her new family can all learn together. She’s smart and in tune with her person so will catch on quickly. Come meet our little gem, learn a new language together and live happily ever after with this snuggle girl.
