Medical Behavior Evaluation ORANGE
Medical Summary S: Muzzled when brought in, lunges at and flails when handled O: Scan: negative Sex: male intact Appearance: BARH Integument: wounds on dorsal cranial aspect of pinna bilaterally, erythema around neck which appears to be from collar, otherwise intact skin, normal nails EENT: OU clear, AU waxy aural debria, No nasal d/c Oral cavity: not examined due to muzzle and lunging to bite PLN: WNL H/L: No murmur or arrhythmias, Lungs clear, limited auscultation due to behavior ABD: not palpated due to agression U/G: male intact, both testes descended but not palpated M/S: Amb x 4, no appreciable lameness Neuro: NSF A: Bilateral otitis externa -r/o secondary to allergies vs. other wounds on ears- r/o secondar to self trauma vs. other Aggressive P: bilateral otitis externa warrants behavior but not recommended due to agressive behavior and ear treatment would be a danger to staff. Prognosis: medically- good, however behavior is a public health hazard.
