07/16/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: As soon as he arrived Jezzy had a staff member fawning over him. I finally got to meet him, and even with so much anticipation I got what all the fuss was about – Jezzy is ridiculous in the best way possible! On a scale of stubby to lank, he definitely falls on the stubby side. His head is the size of a basketball, and his body is made to wiggle. He is very friendly and solicits attention from his cage by propping his paws up and making the most adorable whiny grunting noises. When I had him off leash in the yard and a driver came to say hello, he climbed on the bench, pawed at the man’s hand, and put on the same irresistible charm! He previously lived with a child and two teenagers and was said to be playful, relaxed and tolerant with them. When we’ve encountered other dogs Jezzy seems friendly and interested – softly wagging his tail as he sniffs them through the fence. He pulls on the leash when he’s excited, but looks up with a smile as if to marvel at the adventure we’re on together. He’s easy to handle and responds to “sit,” “stay,” and “come.” He keeps his cage clean, is quick to relieve himself outside, and is said to be fully housebroken. Jezzy loves attention and is very affectionate – he’ll try to climb in my lap, gives kisses, and maintains a goofy innocence throughout it all! Does this big lug belong on your couch? He would love to meet you (and put a big smile on your face!) at Brooklyn ACC!
