A volunteer writes: Wikipedia defines the name Jay as “win”, “victory”, and that’s what we hoping for our boy Jay. He’s a terrific dog, active and playful, affectionate and friendly. Likely housetrained he ‘went’ as soon as we were out the door and we’re off to the park. His leash manners are good, although he’ll jump up on the leash from time to time to play, but loses interest quickly with a firm no. Long legged and handsome he attracts attention from passersby, wagging his tail at all. Off leash in the yard he loves to play fetch, waiting for a throw – eyes bright, tail wagging, and teeth chattering a bit in excitement. Joining other dogs in group play, Jay is playful, bouncy, and respectful of others. Our handsome fellow has a bit of thinning fur near his rump which should grow in nicely with good food and better nutrition. Showing off his sit, he takes treats gently, and then brings me his ball for another throw. Jay is looking for an active and fun family and is ready to live up to his name with the ‘victory’ of a happily ever after. Let’s make it happen. Ask for him today.
