A volunteer writes: Any American Bulldog lovers out there looking for a handsome hunk to make this summer the best ever? If so, you’re in luck because we’ve got the coolest dude this side of a Piragua cart just waiting for his chance to shine… Say hello to Mr Ice! From that adorable underbite and perfect pug nose to his flawless snow white coat, Ice has all the cute physical characteristics of his breed and a bright, fun-loving personality to match. Despite his name he’s not one to just sit around chillin’ and is always eager to get outside and explore, pulling hard on leash (he’s used to wearing a harness) in his excitement over the sights and smells of a sunny day in the neighborhood. All his ‘business’ is taken care of very quickly and then it’s on to the more important business of meeting new friends of all shapes, sizes and species and enjoying the heck out of a good back scratch and side massage. Ice waits nicely for his treats but can’t help making some hilarious snuffle-barks of protest when I take too long to hand them over, though he holds no grudges and mouths them ever so gently from my fingers. Strong, smart and independent, Ice may not be for the faint of heart but his own is as big as a whale and so full of love. Give him an experienced home where he’ll enjoy all the play time and socializing he craves and I promise Ice will return the favor with plenty of fun and laughter, not just this summer but every day for the rest of your long, happy life together.
