A volunteer writes: Hersheykiss is a perfect name for this tiny ebony girl who is all about play and love. This 5 month old nugget was left in our care as her owner had no time and no space to raise a puppy who needs entertaining, walks and lots of teaching to yield a well balanced adult… Hersheykiss has been well cared for and looks stunning in her shiny little black dress. She comes with lovely comments too. She owns the most adorable roundish face that reminds me of a kitty. She could have a Boxer or a Boston Terrier in her lineage. Hersheykiss might be housetrained as suggested by her former master and can sit on command. She loves treats. Yep, her body knows that it has still plenty of growth to do. She walks well on the leash and seems to like meeting other dogs, big and small although she has no experience with them. She is quite energetic, lively, enjoys a ball game and jumps suddenly on my lap for hugs and kisses. Puppies, like children, are wonderful to have in the house, but they need work, commitment, patience, together with lots of love and belief that success will be achieved. If you are up for the challenge, come to see Hersheykiss and make her the promise that she will be one day your star… Hersheykiss is at the Manhattan Care, waiting for her new human and teacher.
