A volunteer writes: Gasp! Wow is this puppy stunning! His coat is an amazing combination of gold and black, his face framed by soft pretty ears, and his manners are so outstanding they complete this already incredible picture. He’s likely housetrained, and waited until we got to the park to ‘go’, perhaps liking to pee in dirt vs. cement? His leash manners are a joy, and having him walk by my side is such a pleasure, especially after a long day of walking dogs. He’s totally chill, mellow and easy, and for a puppy that’s all so special, I can imagine what an incredible adult dog he’ll be. He’s a bit camera shy but was happy being out on some grass in the park and made some nice eye contact and gave me a smile for pictures. He does sit for treats, but may be doing it on some signal that I’m not aware of doing — maybe it’s my hand going into what he now knows is my treat bag :). Off leash in the back he explores the pen, isn’t interested in playing ball or with a toy and we just hang out together for a while. He’s so easy to be with I could have hung out with him for hours. I can’t, but his lucky new adopter can, so don’t waste a minute in coming to meet him. Mr. Mellow himself is waiting to meet you.
