A volunteer writes: A big, strapping boy Hazelnut has that two toned nose that I fall in love with every time. Anxious to go out, he “hit the road running” and going potty was his very first priority. He
pulled on the leash at first and he’s strong, but after a while settled down and off we went to the park. Hazelnut doesn’t realize how big he is and loves to hug and I’m sure would crawl into my lap if
it were big enough. His coat is white, his amber eyes sharp and intelligent, and of course, there’s that two toned nose pulling his color scheme together. Posing easily for photos and not minding being tethered, he takes treats gently, sits when asked, and then joined me on the bench for more hugs. Off leash in the yard he greets another dog through the fence, isn’t interested in playing ball, enjoys more treats and comes in for more hugs. He’s very loving
and friendly and isn’t afraid to show it having no idea that he’s a big boy! He’s terrific in every way including hopping back into his kennel when our time together was over. Hazelnut is looking for an
active home where big boy hugs and kisses are welcome and reciprocated. He’s awesome and if you’re the person who’s lucky enough to adopt him, he’s ready to show you that the new dictionary definition of ‘great dog’ is Hazelnut!
