A volunteer writes:
Gusty and a little friend were found abandoned in a building, two good looking guys in a quest now for a new home to belong to and a  new  family to love…Gusty  who is eleven year old does not look his age. He has been beautifully cared for and one wonders what twist of faith put him in this predicament.  Gusty sits in a corner of his kennel. He can not fathom why he is in there..Nothing and no one look familiar. Still, he accepts my caresses and to be lifted out of his den. A good walker he is, relieving himself right away as we reach the street. Gusty is an adorable Bassett Hound   well groomed  and  well nourished. He still owns quite clear eyes and polished teeth. He is welcoming of petting and whoever dog or human coming along our pen. I like Gusty. He is really cute, active,  easy going, most likely house trained, accepting of other dogs and friendly, all good features that make a nice family pet. Come and meet him at the Manhattan Care Center. Take him home as your forever best friend.
