A volunteer writes: Looking for a totally “chill” friend to hang out with? A companion who won’t argue about whether to watch sports or The Voice? Well, maybe she’ll want to watch Animal Planet but won’t push it. A best friend who’s happy to listen to your thoughts, your secrets in a completely non judgmental way? Well then, come meet Gulper and make her your new best friend (and change her name!!). This beautiful little girl in her gleaming black and white coat is happiest lying down on a bench simply observing the activity going on around her. She’s likely housetrained, looks like she’s had a litter or two and now has no home, no babies, no people she knows…..and is sad about it. This wasn’t supposed to happen. She seems completely comfortable on furniture and hops up on every bench we pass, and when staff is sitting at the table in the yard puts her front paws on the
bench to check everything out. Clearly a pampered pet who was considered a member of her family, she’s a bit lost without them to take care of. With other dogs in group play she’s “gentle and dainty”, tolerant and plays briefly before hopping up on the bench again. Easy, gentle, sweet, and a bit shy, this pleasantly plump sweetheart is looking for her soul mate…..is it you?
