Imagine waking up to Gracie’s beautiful sight. She would be laying lavishly on your bed, watching you with her gorgeous puppy eyes, ready to catch a “let’s go” coming out of your mouth. I see her running through the fields with her long legs(after a good breakfast) or just in Central Park or along the Hudson River…And people around you would shout ..oh and ah..What a gorgeous dog ! What breed is she? She looks so sweet! Well, before to get there..you will have to convince our Gracie that in good, caring and loving hands, there is a world out there full of love and fun..Our Gracie does not think so.She is scared to come out of her kennel, has never seen a leash, i bet , before to come to us and has to be carried back an forth from her den to the yard. She crawls a little to move forward. Gracie is breathtaking. I can not stop looking at her and snapping pictures of her between dogs…I left her in the yard the whole day, so she sees that everybody loves her and for her to take example from the other pooches walking by…She is hard to convince but at least, she is accepting caresses and treats from our hands. She is submissive and is quick to roll on her side… She also seems interested in other dogs in a nice way. I wonder what was her past. Shis well nourished, healthy looking and her smoke and tan coat is magnificent. Someone cut her tail short, i wonder why? Gracie needs some work, patience but i think that in expert hands and in a home environment(may be counting other dogs too), she will bloom into a sociable, happy and very playful young lady. Come and meet Gracie at the Manhattan Care Center. You will gasp at her majesty…
