SAFER: AVERAGE HOME
George was a bit aloof when entering the assessment, but approached the assessor once coaxed with a neutral body. He initially a bit nervous during handling but warmed up quickly and remained calm throughout. He remained calm and relaxed while playing tag with the assessor. George did not resist being handled while eating, and was easily pushed out of the food bowl. He had no interest in toys and minimal interest in rawhides.
George was brought to the care center as a stray; upon intake he was very sweet and allowed all handling and was tolerant to touch and seems to enjoy giving kisses. It took a few minutes for George to warm up to the assessor once he did he allowed all handling to be completed without issue. The Behavior Department believes George can go to an average home that understands we recommend that introductions are done slowly, and George be given the opportunity to interact at their own pace.
