08/25/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
08/25/15 18:57 Profile wasn’t left due to lack of me understanding the owner and the owner not being able to understand the questionaire. Behavior During Intake: Francesco was brought into the facility on a leash by the owner. He was friendly with me and the staff and I was able to scan and handle him with no issues. He also comes from a home with children and he appeared to be fine when interacting with them.
08/29/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Francesco was nested very comfortably on his volunteer’s lap . His eyes were closing and opening, closing and opening. A little smile could be seen on his face. He was breathing peacefully, almost asleep. He looked so happy… The volunteer told me that he was very sweet, a good walker and seemed very nice with other dogs. Francesco is very cute and young, well nourished and his foxy coat is very well groomed. We know that he lived happily with children but his owner , unfamiliar with our language , could not leave much information about him…. So why is such a lovely pooch with us ? Francesco would suffer from seizures, a condition his former family was not equipped to deal with. We think that Francesco is worth his weight in gold…He is a really very endearing Chihuahua, a breed known for its loyalty to us, humans…Seizures are treatable, of course in experienced hands. Francesco needs you. His loving soul will be for ever thankful to the one who will open for him, his or her door and heart . Francesco is at the Manhattan Care Center, dreaming to be again part of a family.
