Medical Summary Negative MC Intact female Good teeth, young BARH Hit by car, brought back to medical–no apparent fractures, dog not painful when palpated or limbs extended, bladder full and intact, road burn on inner right hind leg HR cannot be determined over RR/sounds, deep belly breathing, dogs seems more comfortable sternal than lateral, placed on flow by immediately Pale mm, crt <2s, temp 101F, PCV 68 and TS 5 (dog not dehydrated) Thin body condition, but not <BCS3. Held off on flea tx/deworming and vx, but no fleas/earmites seen; NOSF

O: Rh leg has road rash and some swelling over tarsus, stifle, digitunwilling to weight, no response to palpation; Harsh lung sounds, increased respiratory rate; Mm pink, moist, crt 2 s; Abdomen appears normal, no objection to petting
A: Hit by car, stable for the moment; Had fluids and pain medication overnight; Diaphragmatic hernia suspected
P: Needs thoracic xrays; Needs xrays of limbs; Continue pain meds and fluids; New hope placement
