09/16/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Helper Dog: A1051226 Flint came in as a stray, so her past behaviors in a home are unknown. During SAFER Flint came into the assessment room loose and wiggly, she was sweet and friendly towards the assessor, allowed some handling items to be conducted without issue. Paw squeeze and tag was not conducted as this time due to medical condition, and during the resources portion of the assessment Flint was easy to handle when engaged with the items. Flint appears to be sociable, and did not display any behaviors concerns, so the department feels she can be suitable for an “Average” adopter. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft, soft and loose body, open mouth. Flank squeeze 1&2: 1. Dog does not respond at all. Food: 1. Dog calmly allows the food to be moved, follows the dish, but does not interfere with the dish’s movement. Dog’s body is soft and loose, eyes soft, tail neutral. She lifts her head when hand is pushed against his cheek. Toy: 1. Dog settles down close to chew, will relinquish toy to you. Rawhide: 1. Minimal interest in rawhide, dog licks, then turns away. Dog-dog: 2. Dog approaches helper dog with tail at spine level, body not stiff, ears relaxed, and lip neutral.

Continue to seek foster or adoption. DOG IS VERY SWEET AND ADOPTABLE. Due to chronicity of wound, will try dog without Rimadyl and Tramadol for two days and recheck how she is walking.
