A volunteer writes: A handsome redhead with sparkling amber eyes, fabulously white teeth in his big smile, and a wagging tail was the perfect end to my day. He sat in his kennel to be leashed and out we go. Peeing a river as soon as we were out the door tells me he’s likely housetrained and when he’s finally done we head into a pen for some off leash time. He’s a sweet cuddler, not pushy as he jumps up on the bench beside me. His elegant physique and well groomed coat speak to a dog lovingly cared for. A quick ball game shows me he knows how to retrieve, and although he only brings it back half way before dropping it, he ‘gets it’. Maybe he just felt I needed to do my part in retrieving too! Back inside the building he greets all staff with hugs and kisses, and then rolls over for a belly rub. Finn is easy and mellow, so much so that he rocked his behavior assessment indicating he’ll be a good fit in just about any home. He’s awesome and magical and hoping you’ll stop by to meet him today.
