04/26/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
04/26/15 18:55 Basic Information Erin was found by police who responded to a call about a stray dog that was inside of a first floor apartment in a building. Police say that she did not become aggressive, and said there were no difficulties in handling her Behavior during Intake During intake Erin was relaxed and playful. It was easy to handle her, she was calm as i put the leash on, and collared her. She was excited about the new environment and attempted to sniff every corner of the room. She doesn’t seem to know the basic commands sit, and stay. After familiarizing herself with the environment she laid down comfortably on the floor.

A volunteer writes: This gorgeous black and white beauty has stand out amber eyes that shine with intelligence, sweetness and love. Google the name ‘Erin’ and you’ll read that it means ‘Peace’, or someone with the body of a Goddess and the brain of a genius. Our Erin is so appropriately named as she’s calm, gentle, affectionate and smart. The very first thing she did was give me a welcome kiss as she sensed the way to my heart; how smart is she? Coming forward in her kennel to be leashed, she steps out gently and we’re off to the park. After peeing endlessly we enjoy a nice stroll and while Erin pulls slightly on the leash she’s definitely a ‘stop and smell the roses’ kind of a gal. Compact and well groomed, her tail wags gently as we walk. In the backyard, she joins me on the bench for kisses, takes treats gently, poses for pictures gazing at me with her stunning soft eyes, and wagging her tail in friendship at a dog in another pen. In group, she wants to play but isn’t quite sure how to engage. This lovely soft girl is so sweet and gentle she’ll have you falling in love at the first wag of her tail. Won’t you meet her and give her that chance?
