A volunteer writes: I can’t help falling in love with Elvis! I haven’t heard him bark yet, but he does do a little howly singing from his cage to solicit attention. He was a little shy with me at first, but warmed up fairly quickly. He walks nicely on leash and frequently looks up to check in. When I tell him what a good boy he is he adds a little playful bounce to his step, but stops himself when he reaches the end of the leash. He seems housebroken and has been very mild-mannered with me. He’ll “sit” for treats and take them like a gentleman. He seems interested in other dogs and is all tail wags meeting another through a fence. He likes to check out the lay of the land when I take him off leash, but then joins me on the bench for some cuddling. He seems a little sad and lost, but his sweetness really shines through. Elvis is ready to leave the building! Could your pad be his Graceland? Come meet him at Brooklyn ACC!
