11/08/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Handsome and elegantly dressed define Mr Edmonton, a young man residing with us at the Manhattan Care Center. He is always ready to go for a walk and strolls nicely around the block, eliminating in one stop and sniffing a lot along the way. He is not a bird or a pigeon chaser and comes near other dogs in a civil way. Free in a pen, Edmonton seems a little lost, “preoccupied’, cries at times softly… He will come briefly to my chest for comfort and I saw him with all four on the lap of another volunteer. He can sit on command and absolutely loves food, searching my goodies bag for more….He is not really interested in playing with a ball although he runs after it then abandons it…Edmonton has been quite well cared for by his former master and it is quite understandable that this good looking pooch feels out of place in a world that is not his…..A safe and caring home, a loving master or family….That is what Edmonton needs to get back on his feet..Come and meet him at the Manhattan Care Center and give Edmonton the life he is wishing for..To be a loving and beloved pet…in your hands.
