Medical Behavior Evaluation No Initial Behavior
Medical Summary Scan : negative Sex: female Approx 6 years S/O: QARH, vomting, moderate skin tent and dehydration, clean AU, no ND, grade 1/4 dental disease, suspect cataracts OU. Poor body condition 2/9, generalized muslce wasting, prominent liver on abdominal palpation. CBC abnormalities: Inc WBCs, inc neutrophils, mild anemia, PVC 35% TP 8.3 Chemistry abnormalities: Inc ALP, BG 641, ketone + A: Diabetes, w/ mild ketones present, cataracts likely secondary to unregulated diabetes. Also possible hyperadrenocortism P: Would recommend further blood work to asses eletrolyte abnormalities and r/o underlying Cushing’s, IV fluid therapy and initiation of insulin therapy. Needs placement with rescue by tonight 6pm, New Hope notified. PROGNOSIS: FAIR w/ appropriate veterinary treatment, Poor prognosis without placement.

Dot is in need of vet care ASAP! She is severely emaciated and possibly diabetic and cannot stay overnight at the care center. Dot has been relaxed through all handling done at the care center. Please pull dot by 5pm today!!!
