A volunteer writes: Never have I so fervently wished someone a ‘speedy recovery’ as I wish for Dot’s person who was hospitalized. Dot was then brought into our care by the police and while she was nervous she was calm during the intake process, leaning against the police officer’s leg for comfort. Quiet in her kennel, she’s confused by this sudden change in her life, and finally joins me outside after a little bribery. Going potty immediately indicates she’s housetrained, and I can tell by her gorgeous well groomed coat what a cherished companion she is. Dot is a beauty, and there wasn’t one person who came into the backyard who didn’t want to meet my beautiful friend. Off leash she quietly explored our pen and then hopped up on the bench to sit with me. She sits sidesaddle which is the cutest thing ever! Dot likes to be stroked between her eyes, closing them as
I did so. I look forward to seeing Dot again, but mostly I look forward to her tail wag as she walks out the door to go home with her person. Lucky is the family or person who makes her a part of their family.
