DIAMOND – A1032152
Safe 4-18-2015 Brooklyn
AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC ADOPTION!! A volunteer writes: Diamond can be shy at first, but a little bit of time with her is enough to realize she just might be what dreams are made of! She needed coaxing to come out of her cage when I first met her, but now props her paws on her cage door and is ready to go. Outside she is still bashful, but it’s clear how very sweet she is! She pulls some on leash and has her tail tucked if there’s commotion, but checks in with soft eye contact. Off leash she is quick to submissively roll over when I approach her, but lets me pet her all over and then after some wandering approaches me for more. As if she couldn’t get more endearing, she then offers me her paw, politely takes a treat and runs off with it, and comes back to offer her paw again. Diamond seems interested and friendly when checking out a dog in the neighboring pen and her previous owner reports that she gets along fine with not only dogs, but cats too! She also lived with a 5 year old and was tolerant even when the child played roughly with her. Diamond tries very hard to keep her cage clean and in her previous home she was successfully crated for 6-7 hours and never had accidents in the home. She may need a gentle approach, but Diamond is more than worth it — please come meet this sweetheart at Brooklyn ACC!
