This handsome little boy is looking to you to help him find his forever home. Nice came to us as an owner surrender and is 9 months old. He has been in search of his new loving home since March 16th. He is neutered and ready to go!!!!!!!!! Help us help him find his forever home!
Nice’s medical states the following: SCAN NEG, INTACT +/- 35LBS, QARH PE- AMB X-4, HEALTHY COAT, PERIORBITAL ALOPECIA -OU, MULTIPLE AREAS OF DERMATITIS ON VENTRAL ABD, NOSF , TIMID AND TOLERANT UPON EXAM
Nice’s safer test states the following: Notes: Nice was shy but friendly during the assessment – low body and tail, but trying to stay close. He was calm and relaxed during handling. Nice became very fearful while playing tag. He did not resist being handled while eating, and was easily pushed out of the food bowl. Nice was not interested in toys or rawhide. He was relaxed when approaching a friendly dog, but was not playful.
Look: 1. Dog holds gaze with soft eyes, soft body. He allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Dog holds gaze for three full seconds.
Sensitivity: 1. Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft or squinty, soft and loose body, open mouth.
Tag: 2. Dog is fearful but unresponsive when touched. Approaches the Assessor when the game ends. Dog is likely crouching, may have long lip or lip lick.
Squeeze 1 & 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw.
Food: 1. Dog lifts head and ceases eating when you reach to pull the bowl away or push him out.
Toy 1: No interest. Reassess at future date.
Rawhide: 1. No interest. Reassess at future date.
Dog-dog: 1. Dog approaches the helper dog, loose body, not playful, investigates then turns away.
