A volunteer writes: It’s easy to see the majesty that was once Deboe before age and neglect took it’s toll. He’s a gorgeous dog, welcoming, quietly friendly with a gentle tail wag. Likely housetrained he ‘went’ as soon as we were out the door and then it’s a slow, easy walk to the park. His tail wags from time to time as we walk, and perhaps he too is remembering a better time of being spry and dashing and having heads turn to watch him as he goes. He notices but ignores other dogs we pass, and in play group he greets the helper dog and then wanders in the pen. Deboe is very camera shy so it was difficult to capture a good picture of him, so you’ll have to trust me that this is a gorgeous dog who’s handsome good looks will again be revealed with proper care. So easy to be with, such a gentle soul, I know that the person who will take care of and appreciate Deboe and give him the care and love he deserves is out there. We’re rooting for you Deboe!
