Medical Summary scanned negative intact female est 8 years old s/o: large, hard grapefruit sized mass with ulcerated surface in left sterno-axillary area. Mass involves left humeral area to with a firm connection. LFL limp. heart and lungs wnl abdomen tense, negative fluid tap very calm and interactive dog–allows all manipulation gave 0.2 hydromorphone SQ prognosis poor–the tumor may be benign or locally invasive but the involvement of the leg and the shear size will make surgery very challenging. If no metastasis present on preop rads, a specialized surgeon should be consulted.

Meet Daisy: Daisy is a small and sweet dog, but she has a large mass on her left sterno-axillary area. This cute, affectionate girl needs x-rays to see where the mass has spread, and needs a surgical consultation to address removing the tumor. Although this little girl has a large mass, she is still a sweet and loving companion. Daisy needs placement by 6pm on 8/28, please take her home today!
BEHAVIOR: Daisy has not had a behavior evaluation but her medical behavior is green.
