03/25/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Who doesn’t remember the bells of the ice cream truck as it slowly made it’s way through the street inviting us to try all the treasures within? A Creamsicle was one of my favorite treats, so I was thrilled to meet our four legged treat, Creamsicle. Caramel and vanilla, his coat is lush and groomed, his eyes a gorgeous caramel matching his coat. He was sleeping when I came for him, waking up slowly, wagging his tail gently when he noticed my leash. Off we go for the easiest walk of my day! Pokey and gentle on leash, Creamsicle walks by my side, occasionally sitting down to think about our next direction. Surveying the ‘hood’, getting an interim pet and a treat, we move on. Creamsicle and I stopped to take some pictures and he was, of course, a perfect model, his sweet face looking up at me (and the treat in my hand) as he posed. Putting his head in my lap he purrs with pleasure, closing his eyes and giving himself up to the moment. Gentle, calm and easy, Creamsicle is looking for a person or family with whom to cuddle up and hang out. Easy peasy is his motto, and he’s hoping to begin his happily ever after today snuggled up with you.
