07/01/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
07/01/15 20:16 Cooper was found loose outside. His finders cared for him in their home for 2 days. He stayed with 3 and 4 year old children and was relaxed, affectionate, and tolerant with them. There was also a baby in the home and he sniffed and lied next to him. He was very gentle with the baby and played exuberantly-a little rough with everyone else. His finders think he’s housetrained as he only pottied outside while staying with them. Cooper had a loose wiggly body and wagging tail during intake. His mouth was usually open. He maintained such body posture during all handling-scan (-), collar, petting, pictures, switching leashes, picking up, putting in kennel. He took treats from us, neither particularly gently or rough.
07/05/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: What time is it? Puppy time!!! I can’t get enough bouncy, kissy, huggy puppy lovin’ and no one delivers like Cooper! He’s fun and friendly and full of the best kind of energy, and whether he’s running over for snuggles, kissing up a storm on my lap or dancing around a tennis ball before letting me take it right from his mouth, this little cutie lives each moment to the fullest. He’s curious about everything and everyone so pulls a bit on leash but once in a harness he’s easy to handle and seems to be quite house trained too. Cooper loves other dogs and greets them with polite manners and happy tail wags and he’s always keen but never pushy when passing them on leash. A growing puppy needs to keep his energy up, and while Cooper gulps his food like every meal is his last, he’s not at all bothered by having people nearby, or even touching him as he eats, and he takes treats very gently from my hand. If it’s a beautiful, petite, affectionate and energetic puppy you’re looking for, then I know a certain little Hound-Ridgeback mix who might just be your family’s perfect match!
