A hunk!! Cooper is a hunk!! Well built, handsome, easy and tail waggy, that’s our Cooper – a HUNK! He waited so patiently in his kennel when I told him I’d be back for him, and when I kept my promise and came back , his tail wagged as he looked up softly. Once outside he peed a river and because it was so icy, and he pulls on the leash, we just went into the backyard to play and snuggle. Cooper is a great cuddler, low key and gentle, giving sweet kisses as he snorts. I love a dog who snorts! He sits when asked to, takes treat gently, comes when I call him and through all this his tail never stops wagging. So sweet and affectionate, he’s happy with his paws in my lap getting a good massage. When he hears people on the street he cocks his head in attentiveness – he’s so alert and smart! I took my leash off the fence and Cooper got all wiggly and playful as to him it seems that a leash means ‘we’re going out!’, instead of, as in this case, a leash means we’re going in. Cooper is fun, softly engaging, a quiet, well behaved, nice, nice dog. He’s respectful, well mannered, and affectionate – in short – a rockstar! Our behavior team thought so too, giving him an average rating meaning he’ll be a good fit in just about any home. He’s strong so will benefit from some leash training and/or a harness, but he’s eager to please, loving his person, so with proper reward based training will learn perfect leash manners.
